专利说明:

The present invention relates to a folding clasp comprising a first and a second movable blades each articulated at the end of a fixed blade. Such a clasp is intended in particular to equip a bracelet, in particular a watch bracelet.
There are two-leaf or three-leaf folding clasps. In the first case, the clasp comprises a fixed blade articulated by one of these ends to a first bracelet strand and a movable blade articulated at the other end of the fixed blade and connected to a second bracelet strand. In the locked position of the clasp, the movable blade is folded over the fixed blade. Locking means keep the fixed and movable blades in this locked position. The advantage of a two-leaf clasp is that it is easy to handle since, to fold the clasp, it suffices to rotate the movable blade between its unfolded position and its folded position on the fixed blade.
The three-leaf clasps consist of a first and a second movable blades each articulated at one end of a fixed blade. In the locked position of the clasp, each of the movable blades is folded over the fixed blade and held in this position by locking means. The advantage of such a clasp is that it allows greater opening of the bracelet when it is in the open position and greater comfort when the clasp is in the locked position. Indeed, a three-leaf clasp is generally placed in a more centered position on the wrist of the user compared to a two-leaf clasp. However, handling a three-leaf clasp is a little less easy since it is necessary to fold one movable blade after the other on the fixed blade (two elements to be handled independently so as many additional operations for locking / unlocking the clasp).
The object of the present invention is to provide a three-leaf folding clasp which allows easy use, in the manner of a two-leaf clasp, for its locking / unlocking and which offers the comfort of a three-leaf clasp when worn.
The present invention relates to a clasp with deploying buckles according to claim 1.
The accompanying drawings schematically illustrate an embodiment of a clasp with deploying buckles according to the invention. Figures 1a to 1c illustrate a clasp with deploying buckles according to the invention in a deployed position. Figure 2 illustrates the folding clasp of Figures 1a to 1c in a folded position. Figures 3a to 3c are exploded views of the folding clasp of Figures 1a to 1c in a deployed position. Figure 4 is an exploded view of the clasp of Figure 2 in the folded position.
A clasp with folding buckles according to the invention comprises a fixed blade 1 on which are articulated a first mobile blade 2 and a second mobile blade 3.
Each of the first and second movable blades 2, 3 has a free end 20, 30 intended to be connected by any suitable means to a strand of a bracelet, such as a watch bracelet or a jewelry bracelet (not illustrated). Obviously for those skilled in the art, this bracelet may or may not be elastic, in leather or in metal or have any other suitable shape.
In the illustrated embodiment, the fixed blade 1 is formed of a first and a second side members 10, 11, essentially parallel. The first movable blade 2 is articulated to the first ends 10a, 11a, of the longitudinal members 10, 11 of the fixed blade 1, while the second movable blade 3 is articulated to the second ends 10b, 11b, of the longitudinal members 10, 11 of the fixed blade 1.
According to the present invention, the first and second movable blades 2, 3 are articulated to the fixed blade 1 so that a rotation of one of the first or second movable blades 2, 3 relative to the fixed blade 1 drives simultaneously a rotation of the other of the first or second movable blades 2, 3 relative to the fixed blade 1. Thus, when closing the clasp with folding buckles according to the invention, the user only has to rotate only one of the movable slats 2 or 3 into a folded position on the fixed blade 1, the other movable blade 2 or 3 simultaneously and automatically fold up onto the fixed blade 1. The same applies when opening of the clasp, during which the manipulation of a single movable blade 2 or 3 is necessary and sufficient to fully deploy the clasp and in particular the other movable blade 2 or 3.
More specifically, according to the embodiment of the invention illustrated in the figures, the first movable blade 2 is articulated at the first end 10a of the first spar 10 of the fixed blade 1 by a first articulation A and at the first end 11a of the second spar 11 of the fixed blade 1 by a second articulation B. According to the present invention, the axes of the first and second articulations A and B are perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the spars 10 and 11 of the fixed blade 1, but also mutually parallel and not coincident, regardless of the relative position of the first movable blade 2 with respect to the fixed blade 1.
Likewise, the second movable blade 3 is articulated at the second end 10b of the first spar 10 of the fixed blade 1 by a third articulation C and at the second end 11b of the second spar 11 of the fixed blade 1 by a fourth articulation D. According to the present invention, the axes of the third and fourth articulations C and D are perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the longitudinal members 10 and 11 of the fixed blade 1 but also mutually parallel and not coincident, whatever the relative position of the second movable blade 3 relative to the fixed blade 1.
The joints A, B, C and D can be produced by means of pins (studded) passing through holes provided for this purpose on the fixed and movable blades, for example. It is obvious that any other suitable articulation means known to those skilled in the art could be used to produce these articulations.
The first and second joints A, B are arranged so that a rotation of the first movable blade 2 relative to the fixed blade 1 and around these first and second joints A, B causes the sliding of the side members 10, 11 of the fixed blade 1 relative to each other in a direction essentially parallel to the longitudinal axis of the side members 10, 11, in the plane of the side members 10, 11.
Similarly, the third and fourth joints C, D are arranged so that a rotation of the second movable blade 3 relative to the fixed blade 1 and around these third and fourth joints C, D causes the sliding of the side members 10, 11 of the fixed blade 1 relative to each other in a direction essentially parallel to the longitudinal axis of the side members 10, 11, in the plane of the side members 10, 11.
Conversely, the joints A, B, C, D are arranged so that the sliding of the side members 10, 11 of the fixed blade 1 relative to each other in a direction essentially parallel to their longitudinal axis causes the rotation of the movable blades 2, 3 around said joints A, B, C, D and with respect to said side members 10, 11 and to the fixed blade 1.
To describe the embodiment illustrated in more detail, the following distances are considered: • d1, the distance between the first and second joints A, B calculated in the plane of the first movable blade 2 and which is defined as the distance between their respective axis, which as parallel straight lines therefore corresponds to the distance between a point on the axis of the first joint A with the axis of the second joint B or again to the distance between a point of the axis of the first joint A with its orthogonal projection on the axis of the second joint B; • d2, the distance between the third and fourth joints C, D calculated in the plane of the second movable blade 3 and which is defined as the distance between their respective axes, which as parallel straight lines therefore corresponds to the distance between a point the axis of the third articulation C with the axis of the fourth articulation D or else the distance between a point of the axis of the third articulation C with its orthogonal projection on the axis of the fourth articulation D; • d3, the distance along the first spar 10 between the first and third joints A and C; • d4, the distance along the second spar 11 between the second and fourth joints B and D.
In the embodiment illustrated, the following relationships are verified:d1 = d2 and d3 = d4.
From the unfolded position of the clasp illustrated for example in Figures 1a to 1c and 3a to 3c, the user manipulates one of the movable blades 2, 3, for example, the first movable blade 2 to rotate it relative to the fixed blade 1 around the first and second joints A, B and fold said first movable blade 2 onto the fixed blade 1. The pivoting of the first movable blade 2 simultaneously causes the side members 10, 11 to slide one by one. relation to each other. This sliding simultaneously causes the rotation of the second movable blade 3 which in turn pivots with respect to the fixed blade 1 around the third and fourth joints C, D and is folded over the fixed blade 1. The clasp is thus in its position. folded illustrated in Figures 2 and 4.
Preferably, the fixed blade 1, in particular, the side members 10, 11 and the first and second movable blades 2, 3 are shaped so that the first and second movable blades 2, 3 can be folded over the fixed blade 1 between the side members 10, 11 of said fixed blade 1 so that, once folded, the fixed and mobile blades 1, 2, 3 are essentially in the same plane and their thickness does not exceed that of the fixed blade 1 (see figure 2).
Conventionally, the clasp may include locking means for maintaining the movable blades 2, 3 in their folded position on the fixed blade 1. These locking means are not the subject of the present invention and will not be not described in more detail here. Any suitable locking means can be used (elastic, with or without a pusher, etc.).
From the folded position (and once the locking means deactivated), the user can open the clasp by rotating one of the movable blades 2, 3, for example the first movable blade 2, relative to the fixed blade 1 around the first and second joints A, B to deploy it. As before, the pivoting of the first movable blade 2 simultaneously causes the side members 10, 11 to slide relative to one another. This sliding simultaneously drives the rotation of the second movable blade 3 which in turn pivots relative to the fixed blade 1 around the third and fourth joints C, D and unfolds. The clasp thus returns to its unfolded position illustrated in Figures 1a to 1c or 3a to 3c.
In the illustrated embodiment, it may happen that after handling the clasp, the movable blades 2, 3 are no longer on the same side of the plane defined by the fixed blade 1. In this case, it is necessary first put the two movable blades 2, 3, on the same side of the plane defined by the fixed blade 1 (position illustrated in the figures) before being able to fold the clasp. To avoid this critical case and additional manipulations, the clasp according to the illustrated embodiment preferably comprises guide means provided on the fixed blade 1 and arranged to guide the sliding of the side members 10, 11 with respect to one another. 'other and thus, prevent the movable blades 2, 3 from pivoting into a position where they would no longer both be on the same side of the plane defined by the fixed blade 1. In the embodiment illustrated, these guide means comprise a pin 4 carried by the second spar 11 and intended to cooperate with a slot 5 present in the first spar 10 (see Figures 3a to 3c).
The folding clasp according to the present invention offers many advantages by combining the comfort of a three-leaf clasp and the ease of handling of a two-leaf clasp: it allows simple handling using a only movable blades and it offers superior comfort when worn. In addition, it is adaptable to any type of bracelet. In addition, it has a simple construction and an optimized size since it is compact and proportionate when in the folded position while offering a large deployment in the deployed position, the construction of the clasp in no way hindering the deployment / folding of the clasp. Finally, the clasp according to the invention and in particular the fixed and movable blades can be made from a wide variety of materials.
The above embodiment has been described by way of example only, variations can be made to it without departing from the scope of the present invention.
